It's no secret that I love dressing for fall! But I also love decorating for fall too! Here's a peek into our house all ready for fall! Pumpkin spice and everything nice! I cannot tell you how many questions I have had about these adorable pumpkin topiaries!! Believe it or not, they are from Home Depot! Crazy right?!? I also enjoy changing up our welcome mat & wreath to go with the season! Another simple way to add some fall into your house is with this great pillow cover! Pairs perfectly with my pillow and throw I keep on our sofa all year long! I love this old window we have on our mantle. These turkeys were a great find and look perfect on our mantle, but they would also be fun on a Thanksgiving table. And I love all things Mercury Glass - the pumpkins, candle sticks, and pillars are no exception. Another piece I keep out all year long is this feeding trough. It's perfect for keeping seasonal items in all year long! Right now, these pumpkins are spot on! Adding a fun turkey to your buffet is another great decorating option! And can you really go wrong throwing a white pumpkin here and there?!? Happy fall, ya'll! May your days be filled with pumpkin spice lattes, cozy sweaters, and bonfires with friends and family!!

After a month of testing different eyeliners, the results are in! I tested seven different eyeliners! I tested the ease to put on, durability throughout the day, and cost to fine out the final ratings. Check out my results below! Up first is Mary Kay's liquid eyeliner. When I first put this eyeliner one, it "bled" quite a bit on my upper and lower eyelids. It was fairly easy to apply, but I had to use a Q-tip to remove the extra liner that bled. It did not stay on my eyelids very well. All day, I found myself removing smudges all day. The cost was about average compared to the other eyeliners I tested. Ease to put on - 3 Durability - 2 Cost - 4 Average rating - 3 Next up is the Marc Jacobs gel eyeliner. This was very easy to apply, but it did not stay on my eyes all day. Again, I was removing eyeliner smudges throughout the day. The cost was about average. Ease to put on - 4 Durability - 23 Cost - 3 Average rating - 3.3 This eyeliner by Stila was by far the best one I tested! It stayed in place all day without smudging. Plus, it was still in place once my day was over. The cost was about average. Ease to put on - 5 Durability - 5 Cost - 4 Average rating - 4.7 This eyeliner by Clinique was just average in my eyeliner test. It was fairly easy to put on but did not dry very quickly and did bleed onto my eyelids during application. It did not stay on very well during the day. The cost was average. Ease to put on - 4 Durability - 3 Cost - 4 Average rating - 3.7 While the cost of Maybelline Master Precise eyeliner was good, it did not stay place all day. Was fairly easy to apply, but did bleed during application. Ease to put on - 3 Durability - 1 Cost - 5 Average rating - 3 The Revlon eyeliner was another one that had a great price, but it did not stay on all day. It was fairly easy to apply, but did not last. It was mostly off of my eyes by the end of the day. Ease to put on - 3 Durability - 1 Cost - 5 Average rating - 3 The Bobbie Brown eyeliner was another great choice! It stayed in place ALL day! The only reason it lost points was that it was not as easy to apply as the others. However, this eyeliner is a great choice!!
Ease to put on - 4 Durability - 5 Cost - 4 Average rating - 4.3 You may have noticed that I have posted a couple times over on the Facebook Page about this amazing dress! After receiving it in the mail, I was excited to put together a few ways to wear this versatile piece!!! Most of these ways would be perfect for me to wear to school too - BONUS!! The dress is true to size. I am wearing it in a size small. All of the items linked below were true to size for me as well! Click on the words below to find links to the different pieces.
My family is addicted to this ice cream! Every night my kids (and husband) get very excited when I ask if anyone would like some ice cream! This healthy version is a great alternative! And.... it only has three ingredients - frozen ripe bananas, almond milk (or any other milk of your choice), and Agave nectar.
First, fill the blender with 12 ounces of almond milk. Then add two frozen bananas and a squirt of Agave nectar. Blend until smooth and creamy. Top with your choice of toppings! This recipe feeds four people. Just remember.... 6 ounces of milk to 1 frozen banana. Enjoy this guilt-free dessert!!! |
